coral ID please... i think it's a lobophyllia...

hi, i just bought this coral today... it was sold as a lobophyllia but i just want to make sure it is what it is... i originally wanted an acanthastrea lordhowensis, but all the ones they had have bland colors... so i ended up with this instead...

Looks like an acan to me. Hard to tell because it's so small. People with more experience might know better. Cool color though.

in the back of my mind, i was thinking acan too, but i don't really know much about brain type corals, so i just took the LFS employee's word...

looking more into it and seeing pictures on the Internet, the closest match in appearance that i can see is of the lobophyllia hemprichii specie...

here's a picture of it i took at night time when all the tentacles are out...

Look up Scolymia vitiensis.

If Scolymia vitiensis doesn't look quite right take a look at scolymia australis.
