I drilled my own. I couldn't find anyone who would do it.

I just ordered some bits from Hong Kong thru Ebay. They're great. I tried two practice hole yesterday and both turned out okay.

Please let me know if you need details. I may even lend them out.

Acrylic or glass? I do acrylic tanks all the time. Any size.

I've been out of town.

I bought ten bits, but don't have them in front of me at this time. I know that I have a the sizes for a 3/4 and one inch bulkheads.

I tried drilling two test holes; one in 3/8 inch and the other in 1/8 inch. No problems. At the swap meet I bought an old drill mounted on a "drill guide" and put children's modeling clay on the base of the drill guide. The clay holds cooling water and makes the drill guide "stick" to the tanks so that it doesn't scoot and scratch.

It was much easier than I thought. I do suggest a practice hole or two though.

Now I just need to figure out what kind of hang-on refugium I want to build under the (proposed) hole in the side of the tank. Any suggestions?
