looks like a cross between a pectinia and an echinophyllia, but you got me...

I second Mycedium. With very cool tower-like growths. Do you have any shots of the inside of the pillars? I have several mycedium and would love to encourage growth like that in mine.

It's a mycedium. Merulina doesn't have the eye structure that your coral has.

Yep, from the polyp structure, I'd say it is mycedium. Unique growing pattern for sure.
