Hey saltykelly! Those oxide zoos are really nice looking. What lights are you using?

I'll post some pics of my stuff for you when I borrow a camera so you know what you will be getting, etc.

Do you think you can get some dendros fom guys in your area? I will trade you stuff for dendros :D

If you got more pics lets see them :-)

Dendronephthya or Dendrophyllia? Dendrophyllia would be easier for me to get. Does it need to be rare? Specific colors? Pink, black, yellow or red?

Hey saltykelly, I'm after dendrophyllia. Guys over in the Sac area have it and also some of the stores have it too.

There are no dendrophylias that are black but sun corals are black and look like denros. There are some dendros that are sort of reddish, some yellow, and some with a bit of pink. Just remember they might look like sun corals so make sure you get the real thing! Also they get bigger than sun corals too so you can tell if you get a large dendro.

Nice shots of your tank saltykelly.

It's always cool to see what other people have. Although sometimes it just makes you want some for yourself.

Not that it's a bad thing, but it costs mucho dinero sometimes.

Right, Mike

Sweet wicked b*tch is my name or Melissa if you prefer and welcome.

You need to specify though mike.

Sun polyps are also Dendropyllia. The ones we want are the really big ones, like the Rizzas, the Elephantus, etc. They are hard to get.

Brian, I think when he asks people in Sac or the stores there about dendros they will know what he is talking about.

Nowadays when you mention dendros people know you mean the "giant sun coral" or d. coccinea and not sun corals. lol

I should say, some of the guys in MARS or those that frequent the LPS forum know what dendros are.

I heard Exotic over in Sac had some a while back but too far to drive. I'd rather get them shipped to my house!

If your still looking for one, I can get you one. Let me talk to a few people because I'm wanting more and gonna try and get more at a decent price and can spare one.
