1st two pics are of some kind of shark :D :D

Next one is of a echinophyllia I'm thinking? Maybe oxypora?

Cool shark. The coral is some type of Echinophyllia.

it was sold to me as an oxy but I kinda think it's an echino, how do I tell the difference?

Almost looks like an alien eye echino.

The polyp arrangement is very much like that for Mycedium

Looks like oxypora to me. The higher skeletal 'bumps' the polyps are in, and the crown effect (small skeletal points around the polyps) make me think that. Its sometimes hard to tell between echinophyllia and oxypora. A few of the polyps are tipped like mycedium polyps, but not enough of them for me to think myceduim. Polyps are definitely too big for echinopora, so thats out for sure. Very cool chalice, whichever it is.

even if it is oxy, it seems to be starting to show a green growth edge. Watermelon oxypora?!
