I'm glad this club is being so well recieved. I think that networking is extremely valuable in this hobby, and it's great to have more than one option.
Please start thinking about what kind of involvement you want in this club, we will be looking for nominees for officers soon.
I think that I will host the first meeting. Keep in mind that I do live about 20 min south of Joliet in Coal City. Another option would be to have it at a public place, however I feel that meetings are better at actual member's homes because then you get to see everyone's tanks and share ideas, frags, and the like.
We will also be looking for hosts for meetings, which will start most likely in September. I know that the rest of the summer is eaten up for most people.
I am always open to suggestions, and I welcome any advice from members/officers of other clubs.
