Meeting question

I need some input on what you guys would like out of the next meeting? Frag Swap, Tank showing, Let me know what everyone wants to do.

I like the tank showing Idea. I would volunteer... And we can always do a frag swap, lol. I need some new goodies!

Yeah, I like the frag swap idea too lol. I dont think Draxx has a meeting scheduled until September. I'll get in touch with him and see what he says about it.

We should poll here to see when everyone would like to have the next meeting.

Slowly adding pieces, maybe in a couple weeks ill have some water in it. Im not patient, Im just "financially challenged" :rollface:

LOL, I here you there on the financial part. I just added a calcium reactor with all the fixings, just purchased two new 250 Watt Ballasts, and last but surely not least my 75 plus headed micromussa colont arrives tomorrow! I have done all of this in less than one week to...

Or... We could do both? LOL. I always volunteer my tank for a showing but parking at my place is limited, and as always, I am up for a frag swap.

Salt, substrate, and other bits and pieces have been ordered. I should be able to start actually assembling stuff pretty soon.

Major projects still to be done are: diy protien skimmer, retrofit light fixture(have ballasts and bulbs but need a light box), Im not totally satisfied with my sump so may be looking to mod it, and I suspect Id better have a dedicated gfci line run from the breakerbox.

Im figuring this time next month ill be ordering live rock, then a cure period/cycle. Hopefully by Christmas ill have something worth looking at in the tank.

And to be on topic for the question, which ever is fine with me, I wont have anything to swap or a place to put frags, and you all wont want to drive down here to look at my empty tank, so ill just be along for the trip this time.

Well were doing a frag swap for sure...and possibly a tank showing. Draxx was going to talk to the owner of Empress Express and see if he'd be interested in hosting it. From what i hear, they have a very nice display tank. Ill call him tomorrow and then post a date...Sorry to keep you guys in the dark things have been hectic for me.

Well, unfortunatly Me and Draxx cant find a location for a frag swap...I don't think kingwood would be happy about having an unsponsored event there ($$$ lol), Sorry guys. Brian we would be game for a tank showing though just shoot me a PM about the date and what time would work for you.
