I desided to up grade to the new Hydor Koralias.
I would like to hear others experiances with them.
I really like the type of flo they produce.

also I will be selling my seio's as soon as I get my koralias.

on your #4's how do you have them in your tank?

In the back corners... One pointing the length of the tank, aimed down the back wall, and the other pointing to the front.

looks like you have great water movement. I am wondering if I am going over board with how many I am putting in my 120. if I am I always have other tanks to put the other ones.

I have 2 #1's in my 30 cube and like the flow. I agree with Jesse though. I would go with #4's in a 120.

I would recommend 2 #4's. Or possibly 1 #4 and 2 #2's.

1's are pretty weak and are designed for much smaller applications then a 120.

I have a 75 gallon and I am using 1 #4 to try it out and a SEIO 820. Really like the #4 and wouldn't suggest going with less than the #4 for your size tank.

my plan is getting 2 #4's ,2 #3's,2 3#2's, and 2 #1's. I think if I cover all my bases then I can try them and see witch ones I like the best for my tank. the ones I don't use in my main system and be moved to my other tanks. witch would mean I am upgrading all my tanks. witch also means getting rid of all my seio's.

Shoot for a 25x turnover at the least if it's a 60 or smaller. Shoot for 30x or more if it is an sps system. My 100 has a 40+x turnover and 10 years has taught me that flow is your friend!!!! Turnover is JUST the flow in the display, it doesn't count all of your pumps like protien skimmer or u.v. pump etc.

Any way I am like a lil kid on hanukkah . My wife is laughing at me . she said to me that hanukkah is awhile away and if I keep this up. I am not getting any hanukkah . down side to me upgrading things on my tank is this is most likely the last upgrade I will be doing for awhile. but hey I am taking full advantage of it. lol... next upgrade is my sons teeth.
