green frilly mushroom splitting...?

um, yeah. is that normal?

they have been very healthy for the entire time that i have had them in the tank (8 months).

tank parameters...all good.

background--started as 2 shrooms on a hockey puck-sized rock, each about the size of a silver dollar. now both shrooms are 5-6 inches across (except for the one that has split, lol).

am i in luck? or do have an unhappy camper on my hands?

I just had a mushroom split on me. It looked like it was mad for a couple of day and then split. It split in just a day
. Normal.

It's cool that is one of the ways they multi it's normal. You should put little peices of rock around them so they split onto the rock and then you trade them out or move them about the tank as you please.

I had a huge one probably 7-8" across that decided to split into three smaller ones. So I'd say thats pretty normal.
