Since there was some discussion on another thread about these I thought I would open up a new thread for them.
Just bought two of them to set up my new 120. Bought them off of Amazon for 19.99 each and if your order was more than 25.00 it was free shipping. On amazon they are called Chauvet PC-08 15A Black-Faced Circuit Breaker. They call it a circut breaker I guess because it does include a 15amp breaker on the switch unit.

So by ordering 2 of them I got the free shipping. Ordered them on Friday and they arrived on Monday. They actually shipped out of Phoenix warehouse.
Anyway these power strips are sweet. Has eight grounded plugs that have indivdual lighted switches. Nice because you can see at a glance what you have powered up. Nice to be able to turn off individual lights, pumps, skimmers etc with out having to turn off the whole strip. Besides they look cool.
I currently have one mounted on my 55 and it makes turning equipment on and off a breeze.

I just ordered a few of these, another option that allows for easier installation: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=914023

grenaria, that is a power strip, not a power panel. I have 2 items like the one you pictured, but the panel is a much cleaner looking installation. As in less wires exposed.

It really depends on what you are trying to do, for me the power strips are much cleaner than a rack mount, YMMV.

If you need to pick up a wall mount rack, this is the company we deal with at work, haven't heard of any problems with them and good prices: http://www.computercablestore.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=521

The brackets mount to the wall and the power strip is bolted to the bracket?

For the DJ power panels I just cut a slot the size of the unit in the side of the stand. Slide them into the slot and screwed them to the stand. Added a bit of molding around it just to finish it off. Everything then plugs in inside the stand nice and clean. Switches are visible at a glance and easy to reach to turn things on and off as needed.

chuck o not sure if your wondering how to mount them but i would mount them how pc1blues just stated. when i go to install my powersupply on my aquarium thats how im going to install it as well.

If you do install it into the stand, make sure to be very careful with exposed electronic connections (like power plugs) located below the high water line. GFCI and drip loops minimum.

The way PC1BLUES mentioned is the installation I had planned for the power panels I purchased from WESTY82, but the bracket I was thinking about using to clean up the wiring for the computer.

cant wait to see your tank setup chuck, if you will take lots of pictures including the instal of the power strip so others can see how it cleans up your wiring. thanks
