Just 21 Days left to register for the South Eastern Reef Conference. If you haven't yet registered, do it now!
And don't forget about the ORCA sponsored Member Appreciation Meet and Greet Luau Party Friday night before the event. Come party with all your fellow hobbyists and friends along with all the SRC Speakers. We are going to have a blast.
Last week Mel and I were able to stop by and visit with Carlos from Aquatic Life Systems and check on the progress of the "Infinity Tank" which Carlos is making and donating to ORCA for the SRC Raffle.
If you haven't heard of the Infinity Tank, it's very similar to the "Zero Edge" styled aquarium. The water flows over the sides of the tank and down the outside of the glass. It's amazing to see.
Carlos, a good friend and supporter of ORCA and manufacturer of high end aquariums, skimmers and sumps just to name some of his products, has generously offered to donate the "Infinity tank" to SRC as our Number One Raffle prize.
The tank is stunning to see in person. While still under construction, it's clearly a beautiful design and I think everyone will be impressed when they see it filled with water and displayed at the SRC Conference in July.
The tank will be on display at "Sea in The City" next week. Stop by Marcye's and check it out!
Look at these early shots taken just last Thursday. More photos will be posted soon after all the final finishes have been done.
