Can someone please tell me what the biggest differences are between the two?

We got one or the other today I think, but I'd like to know which one :) It was sold to us as symphillia, I'll probably post pics tomorrow. Just wondering what to look for.

TIA!

I think what I use as a reference is from Robert Fenner at wetwebmedia

http://wetwebmedia.com/mussids3.htm

He stated that the coralites of lobos are separated from each other but the Symphyllia's coralites are connnected and form continuous valleys. So, your is a symphyllia.

I look at lobos and symphyllia from the coralsearch site and noticed difference features between the two that Bob stated.

There's a link at the top of the bibliography at the page he pointed you at.
