I bought what I thought was a red bubble coral attached to a rock. It looked great when first introduced to the aquarium. But, this morning I found it detached from the rock. The water movement (Biocube 29 with all the original equipment) had apparently carried it until it got wedged between some rocks and the wall. I didn't think corals detached from their rocks so I'm wondering what I really have. I have uploaded a photo to the gallery labeled "Diane's Red Bubble Coral."

tough to say. it looks like it's a rose bubbletip anemone but could be a pretty cool mushroom too. if it's still attached to some rock, I'd lean more towards an anemone as when a mushroom detaches, it usually takes a bit to reattach.

It could be a bubble tip anemone. Take more pictures so we can get a better look at it.

It's a rose bubble tip anemone. Nice hitch hiker, but unfortunately it will not survive under the biocube's stock lighthing IMO.
