we are planning on building three or four more. Give us a chance to talk to each other and come up with a price.

you guys might consider reversing the pump in/out will be more effictive

being new to calcium reactors myself. Brian can you explain why the flow should be reversed? what are the benefits?

brianbigoats, depends on the media, I have configured it for either direction and dont realy notice a different especially when using the realy coarse media. The finer stuf howerver reverse flow is a little better

Mike so you got those tubes yet ?? I think we can knock out 4 of them in one day the way you guys work :D :D

Jeff, yeah it was alot of fun, and thanks for lunch and wine ;)

I will try to bring home the acrylic tubes next week. I should know by then if they are needed at work. I have to make sure the guys doing all the curb and gutter at work don't hit one of my lights with their heavy equipment.

Reverse Flow ensures that there is no compaction of media keeps the media moving as well as captures free CO2 and draws it back into the pump. This means less gas in the reactor and less gas in the effluent. basicly a more complete use of CO2 meaning that you can run at a slightly higher ph while maintaning the same reactor output. less CO2 means less impact on the systems PH

Hey, I think I have seen that design before. Let me know if you guys order needle valves, I need a new one.
