A friend has had some success with a breeding pair of captive raised seahorses. A few were given to me recently. Here is a photo I've taken of 2 week old fry.

You hit me so hard with the camera trying to drill the basics into my head that I'm scarred for life :)

Guess I was a quick study considering we only spent a few hours behind your CoolPix! You'll have to visit soon and share your latest camera secrets :D

Hey Keith,

I'd say that's a pretty sweet Chrismtas present!! The only bad part of the deal is when you have to be literally torn away from the tank to go do the shopping, parties, and such. I still haven't done my shopping, by the way. Y'all have a great Christmas!!

Thanks Ben, Merry HoHo to you and all the other good folks here!

These fry came from a friend who now has over 600 fry! :D And all the headaches of having to feed them and change their diapers ;) I mean clean their tanks.

The few that I have need frequent feedings and some tank maint. It is such a pleasure having them to observe. Anyone interested in seahorses should check her website,
http://www.angelfire.com/ns/seahorse/ Please remember to think captive raised when buying seahorses.

BTW, my male banggai has been in the family way for the past 10 days. Still have the four fry from his last brood. Gonna be crowded in that 25g soon!
