phytoplankton setup

I see joe bergers setup for phytoplankton and need a detailed storty on how to do this for a similar setup on my 220. From where to get cultures and what to do with them?????????.
i'm good with the DIY but need to understand the concept of growing phyto , zooplankton and rotifers!

I am working on writing soemthing to put on my website to detail how one can do this. In the meantime if you buy Clownfishes by Joyce Wilkerson (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1890087041) that's the basis for what I have done. Beside that, it's a great book!
