We will announce the nominations for Board of Directors so if you have any nominations-post them soon!

We would especially like to invite all TRAC members to come and enjoy the free food and club fellowship.

At this time, we would also like to announce the club newsletter, "SMART Reefkeeping Quarterly" is now available. This is a huge issue and we don't restrict who can download it.

I would like to announce the New Member Frag Giveaway.

In order to encourage people to join our club, I am launching the new member coral frag giveaway program. This giveaway is not limited to Premium Members only - it is open to any club member that meets the following requirements:

1. You must register for an account on www.statelinereef.com by May 18, 2007.
2. You must have at least 10 posts by midnight May 18, 2007. Please note, posts in the 'Open Discussion' forums don't count towards post totals. Also, I reserve the right to disqualify junk or one word posts. It would be a good idea to put a few extra posts up if any of your posts are questionable. This giveaway is limited to anyone who began posting on April 1, 2007 or after. So if you registered a long time ago, but haven't posted yet, you are eligible to participate.
3. You must attend the club meeting on May 19, 2007.
4. You must be at least 16 years of age when you register.
5. Frag species available are limited. First come, first served. For example: if only SPS frags are available and you don't keep SPS, you may need to wait until an LPS or soft coral frag becomes available. You are not guaranteed any particlular frag. Also, although these frags are high quality, they have no guarantee. Also, I currently have enough for 20 new members. I may be able to get more. Contact me for more information.
6. Contact me, selgado (http://statelinereef.com/phpBB/privmsg.php?mode=post&u=2) (click to pm me), to make your selection if you qualify for a free frag. I will bring it to the meeting with me.
7. The cut off for reserving a frag for the new member contest is Friday, May 18th at Midnight.
8. I reserve the right to change or clarify these rules for fairness. This is my first time doing this and I have not thought of everything.

Current availabe frags are:

1. 5-10 polyp frag of Red Zoas (2)
2. Frag of Lime Green with Red Polyps Montipora Confusa (2)
3. Frag of Purple Birdnest (3)
4. Frag of Sky Blue tipped Acropora (5)
5. Frag of Green Pocillopora (5)
6. Frag of Red/Green People Eater Zoas (2)
7. 2 Polyp frag of Neon Green Candy Cane (1)
8 Kenya Tree Coral (2)
9. Frag of Green with Brown Polyp (Mint Chocolate Chip) Acropora (1)
10. Frag of Neon Green Star Polyp (1)

Depending on the demand for these frags, I will be putting many of these frags up for grabs in door prizes for anyone to win also. Be sure to check back the morning of the meeting for giveaway details as I have not decided yet how to go about it. I may do a 'first 10 members to the meeting' giveaway or I might just throw 20 tickets in the air and whoever gets one gets a frag. Who knows.

As far as the coral giveaway, in a nutshell, new members that sign up on the site for a new account and make 10 posts and come to the meeting Saturday will receive a free coral frag.
