I'm 99.9% sure that is a R. florida not a R. yuma.

What do you think?

Yeah, its not a yuma. Yumas have the bumps all over the mouth area too.

It's common to see other corallimopharians mislabeled as yumas. I have seen more than a couple of sites with rhodactis that they were calling yumas. One guy on ebay had a rhodie he was calling a R. florida. I told him about it but he still kept calling it a ricordia.

Most definitely a florida. It annoys the heck out of me when companies can't take the time to get things right on their website.

Frankly I refuse to purchase anything from sites like that under the theory that if they don't have enough knowledge about the species they are keeping to know what they are, then they probably don't know how to properly care for them either.

I want to give them the benefit of the doubt that they just made an honest mistake, but 99% of the time stores like that have corals/corallimorphs mislabeled as corals that are more popular and expensive than the coral that it really is. For instance, yumas sell for around $20 - 40 on average from what I've seen, while floridas sell for $8 - 20 on average.

Good! I had only heard good things about Reefer Madness until I saw that, so I was hoping it was just an honest mistake. It looks like it probably was if they corrected their page :D
