Need to shave that baby and Ill try again. Lol. Its 12 o'clock shadow is blocking its coralite structure.

ive had this for a couple of months.i dont think it has grown more than 1/8" in that time,seems to grow really slow.

That would have been my guess too but wanted to see it with polyps in first.

no i dont of the mother.i got it from my LFS,i told him to find me something for $20 that he thinks is going to be nice.this is what he gave me,i have to say it is the brightest green thing in my tank under actinics.but is soooooooo slow a grower.

mmmm maybe we need to let it grow more to be sure,but in the 1st picture I'd think an horrida too,but looking at the second I'm up for a chesterfieldensis

ive looked at both of the ids and it is just soooo hard to tell.do the horrida and chesterfieldensis grow slow?this is the only sps i have that i really cant see any growth out of.

i never had a chester,but I have an horrida and it's not so slow to grow,but it depends also by the water paramethers,food and light
