I was wondering the different types of acclimation processes, because I know not every one does it the same way. so if some people could share on how they go about acclimating a fish or a coral to a tank start to finish...thank you

Local corals I temp acclimate and drop in.
Local fish I temp acclimate and just add a couple of cups of water to the bag over 20 minutes and then drop in.
Shipped corals I do pretty much the same as local fish.
Shipped fish (or any touchy fish) I drip acclimate for 1-3 hrs... although you have to make sure the temp in the bucket you are dripping into doesnt drop.

I use the "Floating Method" from Live Aquaria for all fish and corals...

I close the bag in the door on my canopy so it can't float away. I could see how not having something to hold the bag in place could create a problem :)
