Hey Everyone,
I thought this was worth posting. I don't know how many of you would have thought of this, but I don't think I would have ever come up with it. However, I have used these buffing wheels to polish steel. With the right compounds you can make steel have a mirror finish. If things like this help, let me know and I will look for more and maybe others can post tips also. I really like learning new and better or just different ways to do something.
Now for a warning, just like they say in the article do not let that buffing wheel catch the edge of anything. I have lived this experience while polishing a knife and it's not pretty.
