I had a clownfish commit suicide and now I have an anemone without a clownfish. I think it is a BTA but not sure, I will see if I can get Andy to post a picture of it. I would love a frag for trade but if no one can afford that I will give it to a good home. Thanks, Shawn.

Andy/Shawn,

Do you know what type it is? Long tentacle maybe?

Looks pretty big. How large?

Thanks

That is not the exact one, but a split from it. That one is attached to a rock and hosts a mated pair of Maroons. The one I am letting go of is about 3 inches across the foot and opens up to about 6 to 8 inches. Under VHO lights, the tips are purple/pink and the body has some nice green hues in it. I was told it was a bubble tip and if you look at a young offspring in my one tank, it does have the characteristics of a BTA. From the original, I have had probably 7 or 8 offspring.

I would be interested if I can pick up in a 2-3 weeks. I am quite busy the next couple of weekends and it would be difficult to get out that way.. Anything special you are looking for? i could pay cash to.

Any sps I don't have or anything unique. If you don't have anything to trade, I will let you have it for free of charge. Are you going to Andy's for the meeting? If so, I can take it over to his house to make things easier.

I have no SPS, my tank is all softies and some LPS.

It looks like the may meeting is going to be moved. We could meet up at the next one.

Anything cool or different? We can meet up where ever is conveniant, I am pretty flexable on location but time not so much.

I have a cool red and green favia I can break a piece off. Besides that not much that is new and different. I have a couple of different zoos as well. I have some leathers, xenia and some mushrooms.

If we could meet up the weekend of the 19th that would work good for me.

Thanks

The Favia would work fine. I will have to check on the date though. If the xenia is blue xenia I would be interested in that also.

Are you still up for this weekend? If so, give me a call tomorrow and we can set something up. I will PM you my cell number. If anyone else is looking for an anemone I just had another one split into three. So I have plenty to go around.

What are you looking to get out of the anemone?

trade would be good or whatever is fair to the buyer. I'm not looking to make money of them, they just need good homes. If you can afford $20, great. If not you can have one for $10, if that is too much then you can have one for free. I'm not greedy.

I use to live in Freeport until last year and I still own rental property there. Small world.

Do you still have any of the anemone left? We are looking to upgrade our tank quite a bit and are not happy with what we can purchase at the local pet stores here. Thanks!

I sure do. How soon are you looking to get one? Are you local?

I finally met up with Shawn and picked up an anemone from him. It seems to be taking to his new home pretty well.
