All,
Jon & Tabitha (Jaw969) have generously offered their home for the D.A.R.C meeting on Sat May 19th at 3:00pm Directions (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=&daddr=5250+S.+Zeno+Way+80015&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=54.093296,60.205078&layer=&ie=UTF8&z=16&om=1)
Here's a description of their tank:
Our tank is a 130gallon AGA dual overflow on a custom built (by me) stand and canopy.
The lighting is 3 x 250 watt SE Radium bulbs driven by Icecap electronic ballasts, and two 80watt T-5's one blue one actinic driven by an Icecap 430.
I am just installing a new custom made sump and refugium ( by my buddy carbuyersfriend) .
Skimming is via a Euroreef CS6-3
My return pump is a Little Giant Mdqx4-sc
Additional circulation by a Seio 1100 and a Seio 820 on mag mount.
I have a Ranco temperature controller to monitor and control heater/fans. Also have fans in the canopy on timers.
Our tank parameters are: Temp 82
Salinity 1.027
PH 8.3
Calcium 400
Dkh 8
Mg 1380
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 0
We do 10% water changes weekly or bi-weekly and clean the glass almost daily!!!
We feed frozen Brine, Rod's, Mysis, and Formula 1 and 2, once a day and supplement with New Life Spectrum pellets.
WE WILL BE HOLDING A DRAWING FOR A LARGE (3" x 3") PIECE OF IDAHO GRAPE MONTI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and all proceeds will go to D.A.R.C. Second drawing for a smaller piece maybe??
As always if people could bring a snack along it would be appreciated.
Dave
