Have a 36" White-Spotted Bamboo Shark. Bought him when he was 24" and was told he wouldnt get any bigger. Glasscages made me a custom tank for him that was 5'L X 3'W X 18"H and he is as long as the tank is wide now. Hes too cramped in the tank and I hate for him to be in such a condition. He is EXTREMELY healthy. Loves Smelt and Market Shrimp.

Im willing to give him away free to someone as long as they have a good home for him. I really like him, but just have no room to house him anymore. Im located in Ashland, KY. Im willing to drive halfway and meet someone. I will drive 2 hours in any direction, which means anyone 4 hours away would only have to drive 2 hours.

I transported him home when I got him about 2 hours in a Rubbermaid Container, the big ones you get at Wal-mart. Thats how I will transfer him again.

If anyone is interested, Please let me know...

Thanks

I am definately interested. I have a huge tank - 380g. I am close to you, near Pikeville, Ky. Let me know if you still have him. What are his tankmates?

Congrats to both parties! I'm sure he will have plenty of room to turn about in Jason's setup.

Post some pics of him when you get a chance dude!

Oh I've already got some sweet pictures Dwight. Believe it or not the WSS has made best of friends with my cleaner shrimp. Within 20 minutes of being in the tank the first day the cleaner shrimp stays on the shark. It spent about 3 hours giving the shark a good once over. Even yesterday the cleaner shrimp was just perched on his back. It's really comical. I'll post up a pic on this thread maybe tonight. The shark is amazing, really beautiful specimen. Oh, and it is REALLY healthy!

Very cool! I would love to see a full tank pic to see his size in relation to everything else.

Yes....I was going to suggest the same thing myself. I just assumed that he would have room to turn around in that 380....but was wondering how he looked proportionally.

Also Jason, did you thin his tankmates out a little? I know you had a huge variety of fish, and I was worried that some of them (like the triggers and butterflies if I remember your denziens correctly) might injure him by nibbling and picking at him.
