There were so many people that enjoyed the last Southeastern Aquarium Conferencs I had to fwd this e-mail from ORCA's prez.
ORCA is proud to announce that the Southeastern Reef Conference (SRC) web site is up and running. Pre-registration for this event is now open.

This event promises to be an exciting and informative conference. If you’ve never attended a Reef Aquarium conference before, you are really in for a treat. This is a one day conference jam packed with interesting and thought provoking topics. The theme of this year’s conference is “Spawning New Ideas”. The subject matter our speakers will be presenting will stimulate the minds of the beginner aquarist all the way to the most advanced hobbyist.
Another exciting feature of the conference will be the SRC Raffle. We will be raffling an ‘Infinity Tank’ made by Aquatic Life Systems and donated by Sea in the City. Please stop by SITC and see Marcye for more details. Many more prizes, too many to list, will be raffled throughout the conference. Visit the SRC web site frequently as pictures of raffle items will be added shortly.
The frag auction will be held towards end of the conference. This auction will offer attendees the opportunity to bid on frags brought in from surrounding areas and the local club. There will be a feature opening soon on the SRC web site where attendees can pre-register their frags and submit photos to be viewed prior to the event auction. Check the web site for more details.
In 2005, ORCA hosted its first SRC event that was a huge success. I still get feedback from past attendees who remark what a great time they had. This is a great way to meet other hobbyists from surrounding clubs and network with professionals in the trade. I look forward to all our members registering for this awesome event.
Pre-registration for this event is an easy process, using the convenient PayPal feature. Note: You do not need a PayPal account to register. Or, if you prefer to use a paper registration, simply print the paper form from the website and mail it in with your check or money order. Either way, register now to guarantee your spot for this event. Pre-register before June 1st and get 10 free raffle tickets! Lunch is included with the price of admission.
