As the title says, I want two holes drilled in granite 3/4" thick. Hole size around 1 1/2" is about right but there's no set size needed.

Its a 2 1/2 and a 1" bulkhead will fit perfectly through it.

Are you drilling your new stand?

Thanks for the offer Greg but I found a place that does it at $15 dollars a hole, and they guarantee the job.

Here's the stand prior to several mods.

I had to lower the bottom shelf two inches and replace the front drawer with a false front. Want two holes for the drain and return so the stand can be flush with the wall. All electrical will be hidden within the back of the stand.

new tanks, or just moving the ones you have?

Moving the 10 over 10 to this stand. The steel stand is rusting despite the several coats of primer and Rustoleum paint.

The new stand also improves the WAF. ;)

Got the holes drilled in Sarasota today. Couple of small chips around the edges of the hole but right on the money as far as location.

It'll be it's own thread, might even use the RC blog.

Touch up painted the stand, big mistake. The parts I touched up look great and everything around it looks funky. Tomorrow I repaint the entire stand with spraypaint. Then two layers of polyurethane .........
