What is the best way to prop this?

I have been looking at this for a while and thinking how the heck can I propagate it!! It has gotten huge and I think it it time to trim it back a little. Which way is a better way to cut it 1 or 2? or are they both bad?

Just take scissors and cut along the edge. Cutting a strip as long as you want... I usually make mine 2 inches or so long by a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch wide...
Attach with a few rubber bands...(not to tight or you'll split it into nore pieces).... Place in moderate flow, then after a few days to a week it should be attached enough to remove the rubber bands...He's a picture of my sarco the was cut yesterday. HTH

Is that thing really that pink or is the lighting/camera? I have one that looks identical in size but tan (my wife just walked by and asked if that was a picture of mine) I cut similiar to number 2 about an inch or so and place it on a rock or between a couple and within 5 or 6 days it attaches on it's own. I've done about 7 of these and they work great. If it is that pink and you decide to send out some frags let me know how much as it looks great.

lesbill1- it is mostly tan...the white balance is a little off.
