LFS who isnt too great with sps gave this to me to grow for him so i can split it and sell more... yes its faded right now, but considering it came from wherever, to a wholesaler, to the lfs to my tank all in one day: it looks pretty damn good still

it was sold to him as a aquacultured superman... but it appears to be pink/red base with blue polyps... so the opposite of a superman...

i just want to check and see if you can tell from the pic if it is actually an encrusting monti like the superman, or if it will be a plating type capricornis... also any info on whether or not a color morph like this may be worth anything would also be appreciated...

Looks like an excrusting monti. Give it some time to grow out for a better ID.:)

interesting.. so that pale red is actually brown? or is it possible mine is going to be red?

Peltiformis. Its going to be like a yellow, Mustard yellow with purple polyps. Most likely the polyps will stay that color.
