Anyone running Power Compacts keeping one sucessfully?

well there's always gonna be those few people who "break the rules" so to speak and have great success with anemone's in a nano tank. But generally, its not recommended because they grow quite fast and can take over a tank quickly. That and they're difficult to keep, and if you dont stay on top of your water quality, it can change in a flash in nano.

As for PC's, generally you dont even want to try them with PC's, but then again, there's always those people that do it anyways, and some of them have luck.

Hmm, thats a good enough reason for me not to try then lol.

I'll wait for my bigger tank!

my RBTA is doing great in my 12g , but I have lots of experiance with them. But they CAN be kept in a small nano. RBTAs are nice because they dont move around and nock over your stuff and sting them...once they get settled.

Sounds pretty sweet, I only have stock 24 gallon dx lighting at the mo (72watt) Which I think is far too little, I could upgrade to 132watts with the heatshield I have but Im worried about cooling!

add a small clip on fan if heat is an issue.

I had a nem in a nano for several months under a 150w pendant. The nem was always seeking shade. Eventually had to raise pendant 2-1/2 feet above the tank to accommodate it.

The thread is a couple of months old but here it is:

Anemones in 12 gallons w/ insufficient lighting don't make sense me, but as sir_dudeguy said, there's always gonna be those that attempt and do just fine.

Best of luck to those that succeed. No venture, no gain, I suppose.

Not trying to hate, but... I found this funny. Sorry:

clayton07, chelskisw6, mako199,

How long have you had these anemones?
