Good afternoon, fellow Reefers.

I wanted to post pics of a new 30g bowed front I have set up on 02/03/07. This tank is only 7 weeks old, and I wanted to know your opinions on the progress..Am I putting too much in the tank too fast? I feel like I am, but havent had any fish die, and all the corals are happy, and growing. To also be honest with you, I havent ever checked the water even once yet.. I do 2 water changes a week of 3 gallons each time..

Thank you,
I appreciate your time to look and respond..
What do you think??

tanks real young to have that much live stock so fast i think but its looking good. id suggest testing your water though. aquascaping looks good!

like the rockwork as well but that hippo tang is going to get to big for that tank.

I'd say the tank looks great! Corals show good polyp extension. My advice is to target feed the feather duster because they won't survive long in a tank that size without a steady food supply. In my experience the only feather dusters that do well without targeted feeding in a small tank are the mini feather dusters that commonly are seen on live rock.

Nice looking tank. IMO you cant move "too fast" in this hobby if your husbandry is up to par.

The tang in a small tank is probably the only thing that wont work well in the long term. Thats a fish that can get big fast...and they do get to be a decent size.

Of course people always say "well, I will give him to a fish store/get a bigger tank/give him to a friend", but thats just poor planning.
