Im going to be moving next week. While the tank is going to be moving with me of course.I want to mount the inside box of the overflow to the back glass of the tank. What would the best way to do that?

hmm....good question. I assume you're gonna drill the back behind the overflow and drill through the overflow as well so that it will be an overflow still, but minus the U-Tube? Sounds like a great idea to me ;) I would think that the best way is to just silicone it in...but then again, silicone doesnt stick to acrylic all that well. But its not like its gonna be pushed around in the tank or anything...IMO that should be fine. I'm not sure of anything else that would work on both glass AND acrylic.

It is also a U-tube. I want to still use the U-tube. I to put the inside box on the back glass. So its not stick out like it is. I was also think the GE what is it type II silicone.

i know what you mean, im sure silicone will be ok...plus the water going into the overflow helps becuase it pushes the box against the glass...i did the this same thing except i drilled my tank and used the overflow box
