It would be better to just get a 32/36w smartlamp. If you still want to get 3x13 watters then get 50/50's.

What's that gonna cost you?

I'm into DIY, and I just lit my 10gal nano with 2 overdriven 15watt bulbs (overdriven 4x to total of about 120watts).

ballasts were $17 at home depot, 6500K bulbs were $8/ea at a lighting place. Endcaps were about $3 total or so.

the reason why im getting 3x13's is because im first getting 2 and the 3rd later on.......(money issues im only 15) plus im not good with diy:D

how much moola u got for lighting ? PC lighting is pretty cheap these days and a 32/36w would be a lot better.

A 32w smartlamp is around $45 and 3x13w kits from Hellolights is $55. You can get the smartlamp here. http://www.nanoreefaquaria.com/powercompact.htm

I don't know. Sorry. But if I had to take a guess I would say screw it in.
