We remodeled our house and my mom did the bathroom in a tasteful marine setting. I got the ok to place a 2.5 nano in the shelf in front of the toilet. I need PICTURES!! I did a search on google and came up basically empty handed. Show me pictures of your 2.5s!!!

cool idea but i too worry about contamination. what about soaps and shampoo's...would thier smell be so strong or be carried in steam from the shower into the tank and harm it? just worry of mine. also what about temp fluctuation? w/ a hot shower you heat up the bathroom pretty good.

just some food for thought. i would think (at leat i know if my bathroom) thier are too many smells, cleaners, etc that would end up getting the best of the little tank i think...mabye not.

hope it goes well

like I said guys, don't worry about it. I'm pretty much the only one who uses that bathroom so I'm the one that gets to clean it. Since it is the bathroom under the stairs, it doesn't have a shower, so no temp. fluctuations. Just a sink n toilet. So, I'm not going to be spraying anything airborne in that bathroom. I'll just spray the cleaners on the rag or something. Like I said, I've done my homework and I'm pretty prepared, just want to get ideas.

peace

What's gonna happen when you take a dump?! Isn't there any other place in your house that you could place a nano besides the bathroom?!

well, I'm going for it anyways. I mean, if it doesn't work out, it's just a 2.5. I'm only going with a few hermits and snails and maybe a small shrimp for movement. I wouldn't dare attempt a fish in there.
