I Got a SLUG in my Soup... I mean tank

I found this guy, He was a hitchhiker

Should he live??? or is he fish food?

You know what as I was researching a snail that I had in my tank I came across that guy. I don't recall the link I seen him at but he is a good algae grazer. Don't send him down the garbage disposal.

Looks like a stomatella (http://www.melevsreef.com/id/stomatella.html).

They are probably the best algae eaters in my tank that reliably reproduce.

Oh yea there ya go stomatella.

Do you have a couple I could possibly have? I have been battling diatoms almost since the start of my tank and I cannot seem to kick them and since I added a new bulb I just got a big bloom.

I'll check. They mostly come out night, so I don't really know how many I have at the moment.
