I was thinking about upgrading my light setup for my 2.5 gal pico but I was unsure of what was out there and what others have used. Right now i have the coralife 18 watt pc fixture. I know some have used 70 watt MH but i dont know if I want to go that extreme since I just have shrooms, zoa's, rics, and a candy cane coral.

All the corals are doing well right now...so maybe i should leave everything as is...but i got the itch to upgrade...(dont we all???)

Thanks in advance...

I grow a couple sps an LPS and many softies in my 3g pico with 3x9w pc's. I have the coralife 2x9w pc fixture (the mini aqualight) and then a 1x9w light that came w/the tank. No way would i go w/a halide on that tank, but just my opinion

Current USA makes a Dual Satellite 2x18 watt fixture that fits perfectly over the 2.5. I've had that over my 2.5 for over a year now. I raised it up by about 3-4" to help dissapate some of the heat.
