Ok this sounds gross, but I'm wondering if you've ever tasted coral mucus? If it's loaded with the excess sugars from the zooxanthellae then it should be sweet, no?
People don't think twice about putting bee spit on their toast and tree sap on their pancakes. Why not spread a little flavored coral mucus on a cracker and have at it?!?
