I put a sapphire Skimmer in my biocube 29 Gallon, how high Can I raise my water levels? , obviously I want as much water in my tank as possible. will it impede the function of my skimmer if I raise the water levels too high?

IME, high water has not been an issue. Low water is a problem as my Biocube has a high evaporation rate. In my readings a constant water level is best for this skimmer as well as the Tunze. HTH

but how high on the measuring area can you go? Is it posssible to flood the skimmer?

your collection cup would fill with water. That's one way to tell if the level is to high.

I already get water in my collection cup, about 1/2 an inch every day, is this bad? should I lower my water levels?

Is it clean water or skimate? If its clean water can you raise your collection cup higher?

Pretty Grubby water is good. If you would like more concentrated skimmate, raise your collection cup a bit. Your water level does not effect this as the skimmer is self leveling. The back pressure of the water level may make a small difference, but not much. Sounds good.

great< I will raise the cup as much as I can and put as much water as I can in the tank. The more water the better. With the bio balls in the tank and a sand bed, you can only put 20gallons of water in the tank, but with the bioballs out and a skimmer in, you can get about 2-3 more gallons in there. Sweeeeetttt.
