While I was getting my salinity in check and water temperature to 78, my supposedly cured live rock was in a styrofoam container without water for about 4 hours. The rocks were dry when I put them in the water. Will they still be good?

the rock should be. LR can go a while without water. Did it still have coraline on it?

Thanks, I was worried that I spent all that money for nothing.

I am sure the out side was dry but the inside was still saturated with water. There was probably some die off but will come back. How long has it been curing?

It's no longer fully cured but it'll be fine. Expect a cycle ......

My lfs lets the rock sit dry for about a week, and its good quality stuff, not to mention that it sits on a plane from tonga, or fiji and then in a warehouse waiting to get through customs, lol. Four hours is nothing, your fine :D
