I'm thinking of replacing my old Sony Mavica with a Nikon D80 package deal, and supplement it with the Nikkor 60mm Micro lense.

So, I'm wondering, if anyone's got one of these cameras, or, if you don't, what kind of Macro lenses do you use to shoot your tank?

I just use my small cannon digital camera in underwater mode, macro option and then zoom in, it does a nice job, but I think you Nikon will be much better. The trick is turn off your pumps use a tripot and no flash

Well, I went ahead and got a Nikon D80 myself...now I need to get ahold of a good macro lens for shooting my tank and other things- am considering the 60mm Nikkor...but at around $500 I'm a little hesitant!

Why does the fish/reef hobby seem to expand financially into all areas of my life?!?!?
