About 50% of the time when trying to frag a folios Monti, I end up with 5-6 small pieces, another 25% of the time I end up with 2-3 medium pieces and the final 25% of the time I end up with the nice good sized frag I was trying to get.

How about sharing your secrets? Carlos, this includes you, you fraggin maniac:D

I usually take the coral colony out and with a knife I carve the frag out. I do this in the underside. This creates a weakened fault line and when you use your cutters, most of the times, the frag that you have carved out will come out. Now, this does not work all the time and also depends on the coral as some montis are softer than others. Anyway, I do that and works pretty well.
