Also strangley, they would not give me a price list either. Maybe once they send out the sample, they will include the prines then. If anybody gets the price list, could one of you please post them here?

Once again, if I get any info, I will let everybody know.
There was no price list with the sample pump I received.

Just as information, my pump got louder after a period of time. I took the motor off the back of the gearbox (2 screws) and removed all the gears and then lubed everything w/ silicone grease. Put everything back together and you can barely hear the pump when you're standing next to the tank.

I used to use a peristaltic pump to dose kalk, and the silicone tubing would invariably develop a hole after about a week and flood the floor with kalk. No fun, and no fun worrying every week when it would blow. I took it and ran it from inside a tupperware container, and that helped with the mess, but not with the maintainance.

I gave up on it after it began to rust from the kalk baths it took.

Thanks,
Chris

Ok guys,
Just to let you guys know, I also ordered my free sample and recieved a pricelist.

Here is my email:
Hello,

Lately many people from the Reef Aquarium community have been
singing praises about your peristaltic pumps. I'm in the process of
setting up a very large system (calculated 400 + gallons). Due the
size of the system, manual dosing of trace elements is simply not
an option. The reef aquarium community is now looking toward your
pumps to supply hobbiest with larger aquariums with a cost
efficent, dependable, user friendly pumps to allow us to automate our dosing. I was under the understanding that you guys allow us to sample your pumps, which I'm very interested in, but I'd also like to to know your pricing/ minimum order requirement as I have a store front to push such pumps if they do in fact suit the needs
stated previously. Thank you for your time and if you could
instruct me on how to order my free sample it would be greatly
appreciated.

-Chris Dominguez

What DC power source do you use on this? The specs has 200-300mA on motor current. Do you need a DC converter that puts out exactly 300mA?

It could out more than 300mA, 300mA is the minimum power supply you should use.

Welco pumps

It's a coincedence that I came up on your postings. I have been corasponding with Welco, a Mr. Wantabee, last he said that they don't sell just one pump. I asked him like everyone else about buying from a distributor and havn't recieved a reply yet. I just Emailed him again and told him about what I have heard form this forum and asked him to please send me a form. Well see what happens next. What is this form and can someone Email it to me.

Actually they responded to me as to pricing. They sell directly, Ill have to check my email at work to get the details. But from what I can remember they come out to about $25 each when you buy a lot of 100.

The relay is a 120vac relay from Radio Shack. I have it hooked to a timer. When the relay is "off" the NC contacts route the 8.4vdc through the floatswitch for the ATO. When the timer energizes the relay the NO contacts close (the NC contacts open) and connect the 8.4vdc to the pump for dosing. I now have the relay on a digital timer that turns on @ 12am for 2 minutes. All I have to do is change the tube from the TO water to the Kalk water when I go to bed. I wish I could find a small cheap 12v solenoid. Then w/ 2 of them everything would be automatic.

The pricing I was quoted is the same as ADHybrid was quoted above.
